VegSkin vs real leather — how does it feel?
Surprisingly close. TORRAS's vegan leather has a soft hand-feel similar to real leather and slight broken-in development with use. It doesn't develop the same rich patina as real leather (Nomad's Horween, e.g.) but maintains its original colour and finish much longer — trade-off for the ethical/durability advantage.
Will MagSafe work through the leather?
Yes — the magnet ring is built into the case under the leather layer with proper alignment. 18 N+ pull is significantly stronger than typical Samsung magnetic cases. Wallets, chargers, and mounts snap on confidently.
What does TÜV certification mean?
TÜV is a German technical inspection association — independent certification for quality, safety, and environmental claims. TÜV-certified products meet specific standards beyond manufacturer claims. Adds external validation to TORRAS's quality story.
Will the velvet interior catch lint?
Velvet interiors can attract some lint over time, but the closed-case design (S26 Ultra fits snugly) means very little material gets inside. Periodically wipe out the interior with a soft cloth and it stays clean. The protection benefit outweighs the minor maintenance.
