How does it protect my phone?
This is a back skin, not a case — it protects the back glass from scratches and improves MagSafe magnetic strength, but it does not protect the bezels, buttons, or screen. If you want full case protection, the Modern Leather, Modern Case, or Rugged Case lines are the right call.
